This is one of the most useful ACTFL documents I’ve seen. It’s very easy to design appropriate student tasks based on the way this document organizes ACTFL proficiency standards.
I find this document helpful for prioritizing learning goals and creating meaningful, measurable and equitable rubrics. How much does grammar really matter at this level? How detailed should my students’ speech be? What skills and expectations should I prioritize in order to nudge my students toward the next proficiency level?
